JOB SUMMARY

Leitner-Poma Canada, Inc. Inc. is seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Western Mechanical Service Manager to assist our customer’s troubleshooting efforts with existing equipment, modifying / upgrading existing installations and installing mechanical equipment for new projects in Western Canada. This role will manage a team of seasonal, contracted, full-time tradesmen as they perform their duties within the deadline set for the project. This position will also oversee various service operations areas, including fleet maintenance, machines, tools & equipment, ATV’s, mechanical parts inventory, etc.

This is a full-time, hourly position starting at $40.86 CAD per hour based on relevant experience & certifications.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma/GED/CAEC equivalent.
• Millwright and/or Ski Lift Mechanics license and/or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience installing & maintaining fixed grip/detachable lifts, surface lifts, and carpets.
• Ability to work in inclement weather in a mountainous environment at heights in excess of 20 feet.
• Valid driver’s license & able to travel domestically & internationally as needed.
• Demonstrated experience in a management role.
• Previous experience in the ski industry.
• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Proficient in the English language.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in machining and/or welding an asset.
• Proficient in the French language.
