POSITION DESCRIPTION
Title: Groomer Mechanic & Operator
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Position: Full Time
Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour

As the Groomer Mechanic & Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining the groomers on property to ensure safety and performance. Key responsibilities include maintenance/inspection of groomers and other various equipment, troubleshooting issues, keeping record of maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety standards and grooming various trails.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Ensure all groomers are operational prior to and during ski season
· Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on groomers
· Perform maintenance on various equipment ie: groomers, snowmobiles, atv’s, lawn maintenance items etc
· Diagnose and fix any issues
· Maintain records of maintenance
· Assist with grooming operations
QUALIFICATIONS
· Valid drivers license
· At least 3-5 years of grooming experience
· Must have strong heavy equipment aptitude & be able to work well under pressure and at heights
· Experience with maintenance of various equipment
· Knowledge of Devil’s Glen County Club considered an asset
HOURS OF WORK
· Ski Season (typically mid-November to late April): Full time, variable
hours
· Shoulder season: Monday to Friday
· June, July and August: Part Time, flexible hours
