POSITION DESCRIPTION
Title: Patrol Leader
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Position: Seasonal Full Time

As the Patrol Leader, you are responsible for managing all aspects of patrol services and first aid at Devil’s Glen. Key areas of responsibility will include coordinating daily patrol operations, supporting on hill safety, and maintaining daily reports, logs, and equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consistent delivery of patrol services and administering First Aid at the Club
- Communicating daily directions from Operations to patrol staff/volunteers
- Coordinating the integration of patrol to other Club departments, specifically Operations, Grooming, and Alpine Programs
- Recruit, train and schedule the patrol team to ensure adequate coverage for each day
- Ensure CSP training, first aid, and on hill conduct protocols are being met by the patrol team
- Maintain and populate the CSP ZIMS app
- Ensuring consistency with on-hill safety and mitigation measures day to day
- Providing recommendations pertaining to maintaining and improving on-hill safety to Operation Manager
- Ensure daily paperwork (sign-in, sweep sheets, ARFs) is completed and accurate
- Ensure the completion of patient callbacks, and Accident Analyzer data entry
- Ensuring patrol has the equipment it needs to provide first aid and maintaining those inventories
- Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
- Canadian Ski Patrol, Advanced First Aid, and on-hill certification
- Minimum 2 years Patrol Leader, or other management experience
- Minimum 5 years’ patrol experience
- Advanced skiing or snowboarding ability
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong communications skills and customer service
- Knowledge of Devil’s Glen County Club considered an asset
HOURS OF WORK
- Ski Season (November to mid April): 4-5 days per week, Wednesday to Sunday with Monday and Tuesday off
- Holiday work required
- Off season duties required
